What is the correct tyre pressure for your Freelander 1?
There is a lot of confusion over this. Originally the handbook said it was 32psi. This was then found to cause premature tyre wear and the early models were recalled and a modification to their rear suspension was done.
On 03/03/1999 a bulletin was released reducing the recommended tyre pressure to 26psi under normal conditions and 30psi under maximum load / towing conditions. If you have non-standard tyre sizes you may need to adjust this.
Thanks for all your tips as an owner of 1999 Freelander I much appreciate all the tips I can get.
It’s a pleasure John.
All the best,
Sue
